Join us for a captivating journey to the heart of the Himalayas! Photo Society member Paul Mallue will share stunning photography and personal stories from his trek to the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal. Beyond the trails, Paul will provide a deep dive into Nepalese culture, geography and the inspiring story of earthquake recovery in Kathmandu. Don’t miss this chance to experience the beauty and resilience of Nepal through his eyes.
Paul has been a dedicated member of the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society for 12 years. He credits the Society's monthly meetings and educational programs with both inspiring his creative journey and refining his technical skills. An avid nature photographer, Paul specializes in wildlife – with a particular passion for birds – as well as landscape and macro photography. He frequently shares his experiences and techniques with the community, including presentations to school groups and as a participant in CVPS programs. He continues to seek out new photographic opportunities through global travel, aiming to capture the unique beauty of diverse environments.
