Castle Garden Emigrant Depot Special Tour

Join park rangers on a special tour of Castle Garden Emigrant Depot, the nation's first immigration center which operated from 1855-1890.

The hour-long tour will take visitors back in time, to an era when restrictions on immigration were minimal and the operations run by the State of New York. The program will include both unique visual images of the facility and stories of those who immigrated through Castle Garden.
