Plein Air Painting

See Millbrook Village in a new light through a plein air (outdoor painting) program. Park Ambassador Terry (also known as the colorblind painter) will guide participants through a painting by exploring how light impacts the way we see nature and structures.

Reservations Required

Reservations required. The program is limited to 15 participants. Reservations are first come first served. Please email dewa_interpretation@nps.gov with your name, phone number, and party size to make a reservation.

Though this event is geared towards people who aren't practiced or have been hesitant to start painting, seasoned painters are welcome and encouraged to share their insights. Don’t worry about the perfect composition or the outcome! Just have fun, enjoy the outdoors and experience the freedom of painting.

Canvases, paint, brushes, easels, and other supplies are provided. This program may be subject to change in case of inclement or hazardous weather.
