People come to the Blue Ridge for stunning views and refreshing forests, but the region has more to offer than what’s seen on the surface. Ranger-led talks really get into the heart of the mountains, featuring plants and animals found nowhere else in the world, or looking deep into the history of Appalachian people.

Anything from geology to historic tools could be on the table—literally! Programs change daily; there’s always something new to explore!
