Craggy Gardens may be famous for its gorgeous views and natural grassy balds, but there’s more to the mountains than meets the eye. What about watersheds, salamanders, and mica mines? Or the Civilian Conservation Corps, ravens, and ring-necked snakes?

Our seasonal programs range from forest ecology to historical handicrafts, and everything in between. Come learn something new or revisit something familiar; it’s all a key aspect of the Blue Ridge!
