Evening Program - Nocturnal Animals

Heritage StarFest : Learn about Capitol Reef's nocturnal wildlife in this ranger-led presentation.

Bring a flashlight or headlamp for after the program -- the park is dark at night! Meet at the Fruita campground amphitheater.

Very limited parking at campground for non-campers. More parking available across from the Gifford House or at the Picnic Area. Campers: if possible, please walk over from the campground.

Stay after the program for Star Gazing from 9:00-9:30 pm.

Programs may be cancelled due to weather or staffing emergencies. Check at visitor center for updated daily program offerings.
