Dive into that Appalachian sound! Join a Ranger to learn the history of the dulcimer and take a look into the past. Come, listen, and stay a while.

Sometimes songs inspire us. Sometimes they help us identify with our friends and neighbors. Sometimes they represent the frustration of our community. On this Labor Day we will play a few of the songs that showcase and let us explore what it means to be free.

The ranger-led dulcimer program will begin at 11 am at the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center. All NPS Blue Ridge Parkway programs are free and open to anyone. All ages welcome.
