The New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park and the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve present a Jazz Program featuring the Louis Ford Trio Saturday at 3:00 pm At the National Park Service French Quarter Visitor Center 419 Decatur St, New Orleans.

Louis Ford Trio

Louis Ford is a fifth generation New Orleans musician, inspired by his father Clarence Ford. Like his father, Louis is an accomplished clarinetist and saxophonist, with love and dedication to the preservation of jazz.

Studying music at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) under Ellis Marsalis, a member of St. Augustine’s Marching 100, he earned a degree in Music Education from Loyola University.

This program is free and open to the public.
