Latino Conservation Week at Theodore Roosevelt Island

Join the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail, the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail, Green Latinos, and the Urban Adventure Squad for a trash clean up from 9 AM to 11 AM near Theodore Roosevelt Island.
After the event (until 2pm), there will be community tabling in celebration of Latino Conservation Week.
Activities
- completing Junior Park Ranger activities and earning a Junior Ranger badge
- learning from National Park Rangers and conservation groups about the park and the watershed
- a hike on the island led by a park ranger
- free giveaways
What to bring
- Water
- Gloves (there will be some to borrow but in limited supply)
- Long sleeves and long pants
