About the Festival

Come to Fort Hunt every Friday in September at 7:30 PM to see movies about World War II or the Cold War! This year’s sub-theme of science and technology will explore how the Second World War spurred advances in these fields that would change the world forever.

In lieu of previews, a park ranger will deliver a talk about how each movie connects to Fort Hunt’s twentieth century history before each screening.

The movies are inside a pavilion, so bring a chair, but not a blanket. Visitors may also bring their own food to enjoy during the show.
