Big Sit Birding at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge

Birding and enjoying the outdoors should be a welcoming and inclusive activity for all people, and for that reason we welcome you to join us while we sit, watch, and listen for as many bird species as possible. People of all experience levels are invited, particularly people who are blind, partially sighted, have low vision, and/or mobility issues.

We will be sitting on benches near our pollinator garden, adjacent to the visitor center. Sunscreen and bug spray recommended; binoculars available to borrow.
