Labor Day Weekend in the Blackstone Valley

Spend Labor Day weekend in the Blackstone Valley. Rangers will lead free guided tours at Old Slater Mill, Thursday-Sunday, at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. each day. The visitor center will be open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (free).
Labor Day Special Tours
Rangers will lead special tours for Labor Day on Saturday, September 5th, focusing on the First Wage Workers' Strike (10:30 a.m.), Humans and Machines (12:30 p.m.), and The Cotton Economy (2:30 p.m.). The bell tower of the mill will be open from 1-4 p.m. for visitors to peek inside the mill without a tour.
Songwriters at Slater Mill
Saturday will also feature free music: "Songwriters at Slater Mill," an annual celebration of music, creativity, community, and environmental activism rooted in place. Bring a chair or a blanket.
