Visit the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center at milepost 85.6 near Waynesboro, Virginia to share a trail tail with bestselling author Leonard Adkins.

Mr. Adkins wrote Hiking and Traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. He is known as “The Habitual Hiker.”

Adkins has walked all of the trails he writes about in his hiking guides with a surveyor’s measuring wheel, relates the stories of his steps in entertaining ways and inspires others to find the height of their contentment amidst the greens and blues of the forest.
