Discover traditional Appalachian foodways at the Peaks of Otter Visitor Center. Learn how culinary traditions are shaped by the rugged subsistence farms of Appalachia. The rise of modern food insecurity and how to alleviate it in your own communities will also be discussed. All Blue Ridge NPS Programs are free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
