Junior Ranger Day: Railroad Explorer Program at Blue Heron KY

Celebrate Junior Ranger Day by visiting Blue Heron Visitor Center in Kentucky on Sunday, August 30, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM ET.

Pick up a Junior Ranger Railroad Explorer booklet and discover the story of the railroad through fun, hands-on activities while exploring beside the historic railroad tracks that once served the Blue Heron coal mining community.

Park rangers will be available throughout the day to answer questions and help explorers of all ages earn their Junior Ranger Railroad Explorer badge.
