Sometimes songs inspire us. Sometimes they help us identify with our friends and neighbors. Sometimes they represent our community. On Freedom Friday of National Park Week we will play a few of the songs that showcase and let us explore what it means to be free.

Join a Ranger to learn about the dulcimer and take a look into the past. Come, listen, and stay a while. The program will be along the way to the Humpback Rocks trailhead for those who wish to hike after. And for those who prefer a leisurely day, the program is steps away from the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center and the historic buildings of those who lived atop the mountains.

All NPS Blue Ridge Parkway programs are free and open to anyone. All ages welcome.
