Sean Clark Trio featuring Saskia Walker
Sean Clark Trio featuring Saskia Walker Friday at 3:00 pm. At the National Park Service French Quarter Visitor Center 419 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA.
Drummer Sean Clark studied jazz at the University of New Orleans when Ellis Marsalis was the chair of the Jazz department. He brings his trio to the park in a program featuring vocalist Saskia Walker and her interpretations of Louisiana Creole songs, jazz standards, along with a deep dive into the rhythmic side of New Orleans music.
Jazz vocalist Saskia Walker moved to New Orleans in 2019 from her home town of Rome, Italy, to explore its vibrant musical landscape. She has since worked with many notable musicians in recording studios like Esplanade Studios, and live performances at the Spotted Cat and d.b.a. on Frenchman Street and the Maple Leaf uptown.
This program is free and open to the public.
