Traditional Beading Skills, Teachings, and a Deeper Connection to Creativity and Spirit, on August 29th. Workshop will occur at the Visitor Center Annex.
Join Starr Slagiel (Yaqui/Pueblo) and Nanette Robinson (Yakama) for a three-hour workshop exploring traditional skills, creativity, and personal intention. Participants will begin with breathwork techniques designed to calm and ground the spirit before creating. Starr and Nanette will then share teachings and introductory skills in leatherwork and beadwork as participants make their own necklaces.
You will leave with your handmade necklace, traditional skills and teachings, grounding tools for everyday life, and a deeper connection to your creativity and spirit.
