Freedom Friday: Hike with a Ranger - Military Trail from Walpack Center to Van Campen Inn and Back

Celebrate National Park Week and the United States' 250th Birthday with us by exploring your country's history!

Join a ranger on a hike along the Military Trail, a historic road trace from Walpack Center to the Van Campen Inn. The trek over the Walpack Ridge is about 2.5 miles round-trip, moderate difficulty, and full of history!

When arriving at the Van Campen Inn, attendees will explore the history of the mid-1700s yaugh house located in the Delaware River Valley.

Prepared for the Hike

Please be prepared for the hike with sturdy shoes, plenty of water, snacks, and bug spray. This hike is rain or shine but is subject to change or cancellation due to inclement or hazardous weather.
